THE FAIR - 2019 EDITION

Come one, come all

Come and help us celebrate this great occasion. The Stanstead County Agricultural Society's annual exposition is one of Canada's oldest country fairs with approximately 25,000 visitors every year. Come join us and discover what makes this event so popular as we celebrate our 174th birthday from August 22 through August 25, 2019.

Be a part of it all—Become a partner! The Ayer's Cliff Fair would like to invite you to be a part of both our history and our future by becoming one of our partners. There are many exciting ways you can become involved. We are looking for annual as well as long-term partners for the Fair and for the 175th anniversary

 

 

HAPPY 174th ANNIVERSARY !!!

Happy Birthday!!! We are 174 years old. This year, the Stanstead County Exhibition invites you to discover the charm of the countryside. Come see our exhibitors of dairy and beef  cattle. Want to learn to weave? Visit the ladies department for many demonstrations of our many craft exhibitors. Do you have children? Come and have a ride with your kids at the Children's Corner. We offer children's art classes as well as face painting. COME AND DISCOVER!

 

 

Something for Everyone!!

Livestock exhibits to the midway by ”FUN SHOW” and the diverse entertainment in our grandstand, like the horse pulls and truck pulls that are sure to provide tonnes of entertainment for all ages. There is something for everyone!

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The Stanstead Agriculture Society has started a Scholarship Program, with the goal of encouraging and attracting young adults, to develop the necessary skills to continue and exceed in the Agriculture Industry.

Each year the Board will choose a minimum of 1 student, who will receive a Scholarship of up to 500.00$.

In order to qualify as an eligible candidate, you must follow the below procedures and criteria…

-Be a citizen of the Province of Quebec

-Be from the MRC Memphremagog or Coaticook Regions

-The Scholarship applies to all students (male or female)

-Continued Education in the following sectors;

Agriculture, Welding, Mechanics, Accounting

-Must be registered full-time in a post-secondary school

-Fill out the ACF Scholarship Application form. 1 Character reference from a teacher or an employer is required

The candidate must fill out the application form of intent, to its fullest.

-Upon being chosen, the candidate must agree to be present at the public opening on the Friday night of fair, where he/she will receive 2 day entries passes free.

-The winner must agree to be photographed knowing the photos will be published for any promotional purpose.

-This is being made available to students entering their second year of agricultural studies.
